A little bit of everything

BB-MM2-A-1 sits right in the middle of the BotBlox antenna range.

It gives you a balanced FoV horizontally and vertically, along with useful detection range. That makes it a solid all-round choice when you don't need the widest possible view or the longest possible range.

Detection range: up to 40 m for a 0.5 m² RCS target
Field of view: 70° x 45° FoV

Balanced coverage and range

You don’t always need the widest view or the longest range. BB-MM2 sits comfortably in the middle, giving you solid coverage in both directions without giving up too much distance. It’s a good all-round option when you want a bit of everything.

Best for

General robotics, UAS situational awareness, sensor fusion, prototyping, target tracking and applications where your final FoV and range requirements are still being worked out.

A good place to start

If you're building a new system and aren't quite sure where you'll land on the range-versus-FoV tradeoff, BB-MM2 is a good starting point.

And if testing shows that you need more range, more coverage or dedicated altitude sensing, you don't need to change the whole radar.
